Winds blow in from the sea and tides surge across the Delta. On April 17, Qiu Shiwei, Member of the Standing Committee of Hanzhong Municipal Party Committee and Director of the United Front Work Department, together with Wu Qiaoling, Deputy Director of the Municipal People’s Congress and Chairperson of the Hanzhong Municipal Committee of China Democratic League, Liu Wei, Director of the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau and other delegates, visited Baino Chuangrui (Wenzhou) Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (Chuangrui Bio) for study and inspection. Wang Chi, Member of the Standing Committee of Wenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Director of the United Front Work Department, Ye Jun, Executive Deputy Director of the United Front Work Department, and Qian Suwen, Deputy Director of the United Front Work Department and Party Secretary of Wenzhou Federation of Industry and Commerce, warmly accompanied the inspection.

Minister Qiu Shiwei and his entourage visited Chuangrui Bio’s eukaryotic bulk drug workshop, vial lyophilized powder & liquid injection preparation workshop, and topical gel workshop in sequence. Accompanied by Dr. Ouyang Bingjie, Deputy General Manager of Chuangrui Bio, the delegation gained an in-depth understanding of the company. During the tour, Dr. Ouyang Bingjie gave a detailed introduction to the macromolecular biologic CDMO platform built by Chuangrui Bio. She stated that the CDMO platform integrates multiple platforms and pools resources to realize the R&D, production and commercialization of biologic drugs.

Chuangrui Bio’s CDMO platform was initiated by Li Xiaokun, Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and President of Wenzhou Medical University. It also serves as the industrial demonstration base of the National Engineering Research Center for Cell Growth Factor Drugs and Protein Preparations, as well as the engineering translation center of the National Key Laboratory of Macromolecular Drug Development and Manufacturing.
