On April 23, Huang Ruping, Deputy Director of the Urban Division of Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Chen Ze, Second-level Principal Staff Member of the Urban Division, together with Ge Huiling, Senior Engineer and Fan Weiyu, Research Fellow from the Industry Institute of Zhejiang Provincial Development Planning Institute, visited Baino Chuangrui (Wenzhou) Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Chuangrui Bio), the CDMO industrial platform of China Gene Medicine Valley, for an in-depth inspection and research. Lin Zhaoguang, Member of the Standing Committee of Ouhai District Party Committee and Vice District Mayor, accompanied the delegation. Wang Shumin, General Manager of Baino Chuangrui, introduced the CDMO platform.

The delegation conducted on-site inspections of the company’s eukaryotic bulk drug workshop, topical sterile gel workshop, and vial lyophilized powder and liquid injection preparation workshop in sequence. They toured production lines including cell manufacturing and small-volume sterile filling, and held discussions on the R&D and production of cell growth factor drugs and protein preparations.

During the visit, General Manager Wang Shumin elaborated on the supporting facilities and equipment for Chuangrui Bio’s one-stop CDMO services covering the whole workflow from R&D to commercial manufacturing. The platform has accumulated experience in large-scale production with two microbial fermentation lines of 500 L and 2000 L, and is equipped with one 15 m² lyophilizer, which can meet the capacity requirements for national centralized procurement of recombinant proteins in the future. Deputy Director Huang gained an in-depth understanding of Baino Chuangrui’s industrial construction, future plans and talent development, and recognized the company’s professional capabilities.
